„Deficient Heart Blood – 心血虚 – xin xue xu and Decifient Heart Yin – 心阴虚 – xin yin xu
The Heart’s Blood is the responsive and relaxed component of the link to time and place. The Heart’s Yin has a deeper quiescence and stillness. Both disharmony patterns share overlapping signs: heart palpitation, sweating, forgetfulness, insomnia, anxiety with situations and people. These signs are thought of as the Blood or Yin unable to embrace the Qi or Yang.
Heart Blood and Heart Yin both have discomfort and a feeling of unease that is related to particular situations. Heart Blood patterns are likely to have shyness and a sense of vulnerability or a wanting to withdraw ; Heart Yin patterns are likely to be a person who is visibly jumpy or chatty or who makes a determined effort to conceal anxiety.
Both patterns can have signs of inapproriate behaviour and insomnia. Both patterns will have trouble with speaking in public; but Blood patterns may tend to forget the words while a person with Deficient Yin in haste may say unintended words. Both tend to forget.” – The Web that has no weaver.
Still my intentions are not to mix chinese medicine and nei gong, only as i have one platform and also have an ongoing chinese medicine study, tend to be inspired to share. Again, many cases if this patterns and other Heart patterns are proved to be solved by herb presciptions as well as acupuncture and tuina treatments. And we know that to be able to practise Qigong and nei gong effectively we need to be healthy. Health has a different meaning in chinese medicine and in nei gong.
I use example now , so we can see how our conditions are not fixed, to show we are not fixed with problems, these are conditions. Furthermore I previously posted about Kidney patterns, not long ago. Heart and Kidney linked very strongly.
” Deficient Heart Blood is often assiciated with Deficient Spleen Qi because the Spleen produces the Blood, while Deficient Heart Yin is usually related to Deficient Kideny Yin because the Kidneys are the source of the Yin of the Organs…
Deficient Heart Qi or Yang is an associate pattern with Deficient Kideny Yang ( the Kidney are the root of Yang ) or Deficient Lung Qi. ” Same source.
Those who start with Qigong may not see, how things differ. How a solid health is needed for deep Qigong practise, and how chinese medicine takes care of a basic health, by harmonizing relatively these patterns. These patterns, we start to see or study show us more about conditions, that is beneficial to balance. Yet in Qigong practise the situation is different and health means something else.
Simply speaking what we can do basicly to help our functions, or build energetic centers that stabilize functions. I think Qigong movement practises are quiet good at regulating Qi movements, if principles are well built and we really can access Qi. Energetic centers, such as the lower dan tian or the Heart field, needs different approach. Not a big secret that Qigong practise starts with dan tian. These fields strongly related to Kidney and Heart health and functions.
In summary, if we look at our symptoms or usualy characteristics we may find some of the above mentioned or some from the previous post about Kidneys ITT . Tendency to think about these as so we are, yet these are conditions, and herbs, treatment may show a way out of these patterns. Effective Qigong practise also will affect these patterns ,yet it is not their aim. Just a fact that mastering your you or at least becoming able to access and regulate or work with it will change you system.
