Nei gong and shiatsu | tuina | acupuncture

dao nei gong shiatsu, acupuncture

A short description of nei gong just has been sent out to Polish Shiatsu Association members. As we are going to meet on Friday for a short 2 hour talk about nei gong.

Nei gong means internal skill literally, but extensively it is about the process which we go through by practise. Physical body is trained and transformed so it is the stable platform for later eneregetic work ( Qi ). Nei gong is originated in ancient China, and mixed with chinese internal alchemy practises.
A linear, systematic methodology describes it best, prepairing the 3 main bodies of Human level for deeper work. Qi gong and Dao Yin is the tool for nei gong, hence it is important what qualities we cultivate, will dictate how efficient our qigong and dao yin or any seated or standing practise is.

Not the easiest concept to comprehend, that the body need to be understood, listened to and also transformed, it happens in a certain fashion. I like the metaphor, the body is a temple, since it is a building it should be solid and well strutured, also clean, so it is desired to enter.
We have variuos tools to accomplish this, certain methdodology to strech first, open joints, lengthen muscles and work with soft tissues. Later stages it is more complex, and the method change again and again, as Qi is introduced into practise.
Nei gong is also complex as we got processes that are unfolding and was ignited first. So we need to do certain things with our mind, intention, attention and awareness too. If this whole practise is organized into the correct order and processes taken care of, we can enter the stream of nei gong and possibly avoid mistakes and errors.
One main aspect of the process is how to anchor the energetic system to protect it from „floating” or dispersing, or more extreme cases : delusional operation. Of course any aspect of nei gong cannot be over emphasized or we find ourselves in trouble again.
Hence the importance of qualities of Heart-mind, and harmonizations of the extremes, perhaps unification and several ingredients of our beings must be merged. All very intricate.

To my current understanding it was nei gong practitioners attained higher level of understanding and ability to see clear, who established Chinese Medicine, yin yang and 5 element theory, and created the map of channel system.
Following their practise leads to deeper understanding in chinese medicine, acupuncture, shiatsu and tuina. At least this was my approach in the last 9 years.
For me it is beyond now of the need to improve shiatsu or tuina, it is rather what it is, life and practise. The Path. Lifestyle, my life, my existence. I am happy if sharing these experiences are any help to anyone, and that is it.

Everyone can choose, they have the right to choose again and again. We can choose every day what we are after , what is the call of the soul and what we choose to nourish.
Looking forward to see polish shiatsu practitioners on Friday who chose to be curious about it.
